Glenwood Springs is a great place to visit.  It is in a pretty setting and offers several great attractions.  The Colorado River runs right next to Glenwood Springs and there are many white water rafting trips you can book nearby.

Glenwood Hot Springs

What Glenwood Springs is named for is the hot springs.  You can swim in the hot springs, but they are not in an overly natural setting like you might picture a natural hot springs.  It looks more like a big public swimming pool that is very crowded.  It costs around $10 per person to swim there.  A lot of people like it, but if you are picturing jumping into a natural pool then just know ahead of time that these hot springs are not what you might expect.

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

One major attraction in Glenwood Springs is the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.  You can purchase an all day pass or individual rides (the day pass is a much better deal, purchasing individual rides would add up really fast).  You ride a gondola up the mountain to get to the adventure park.  Some of the highlights include:

A Giant Canyon Swing that is one of the most intense and very fun.

A great Alpine Coaster where you can control your own speed and braking.

Laser tag

A small rock climbing wall

A maze

Bungee trampolines

A 4D movie theater (ok, but not the highest quality 4D theater)
