Vail is a beautiful mountain town famous for skiing. While winter sports are all available and all fantasitc in Vail, including skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, Vail is also a great summer destination.In the summer months Vail offers excellent hiking, white water rafting, wild life viewing, and relaxing activities like picnics in meadows. Vail is also a fun place to just walk around and hang out. The setting is beautiful and if nothing else you can go for a drive and just take it all in.
